The Supply Chain & Fulfillment community is one of the key components of Accenture’s service line.In our team you will:Shape and deliver innovative Sustainable Value / Supply Chain engagements for our clients, either as part of broader projects or standalone engagements.Work in a central role enabling capabilities in working with some of the best global companies in the world, responsible for helping the CSCO/COO, and her or his business partners, address some of the critical business issues faced today, including:Supply Chain Strategy & Segmentation (Operating Model, Process Design, etc.)Control TowersNetwork Design & OptimisationWarehouse / Fulfilment Centre / Distribution Centre facility solutioning, concepting and designMaterials Handling Automation in either warehouse operations or manufacturingWarehouse & Inventory ManagementLogistics applications in automated or robotic operations towards autonomous operationsIn this role you will:Be responsible for leading projects and delivery teams in our group to formulate and complete customer-centric planning and fulfillment strategiesLead the implementation of supply chain digital and analytics capabilities, including but not limited to SAP, S4/IBP, Oracle, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, O9, etc.Lead end-to-end strategy definition through to full implementation and benefits realisation of projects in both digital technology and physical logistics including warehouses, manufacturing and associated distribution, e.g. warehouse automationAnalyse and model financial data to support large scale cost reduction programmes, applying functional and cost category benchmarks, process definitions and enterprise value targeting toolsHelp clients harness digital and emerging technology solutions to power their operational strategies (including via RPA, IoT, Blockchain, Analytics, AI, ML)Lead business development opportunities and prepare sales proposalsBuild highly effective teams of Consultants to help craft and implement client engagements, with a strong capability to develop the skills and capabilities of junior colleaguesContribute to global thought-leadership and demonstrate the skills of others throughout the practice to enable cohesive delivery of strategic and ground-breaking solutionsBuild and establish relationships with key third parties (e.g. technology providers, NGOs, governmental bodies) that help to complement and expand Accenture’s capabilities and PoVWe are looking for experience in the following areas:Ability to analyse sophisticated client problems, understand financial performance links between operations, supply chain and corporate results and think strategically to create a benefitAbility to run the origination of new work, and drive the sales processAbility to implement programme management and large scale delivery of projectsCommercial management of consulting engagementsStrong critical thinking and team building with a consistent record in driving business outcomes for large clientsExcellent written, oral and presentation communication skillsBuild and lead successful teamsFlexibility and mobility are required to deliver this role as there will be requirements to spend time onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery of the first-class services we are known for.Set Yourself Apart:8+ years consulting and/or project delivery experience including delivery to agreed scope, time scales and budgets from a credible consulting company or blue-chip organisationFunctional experience should include some of the following: distributed order management, inventory management, demand planning, supply planning, distribution and logistics, transport sourcing, global trade management, warehouse or manufacturing automation, warehouse management systems or transport management systemsKnowledge of core Supply Chain business capabilitiesWhat’s in it for you:At Accenture in addition to a competitive basic salary and car allowance, you will also have an extensive benefits package which includes up to 30 days’ vacation per year, private medical insurance and 3 extra days leave per year for charitable work of your choice!
