Warehouse Dispatch Coordinator / Relief Class 1 Driver

Connect Appointments have a new opportunity for a Warehouse Dispatch Coordinator to join our clients warehouse team in Middlesbrough.

Please Note - This role also requires you to be a relief Class 1 Driver to cover absences; therefore, a valid HGV C+E license is essential, and you need to be 25 years+ for insurance purposes. Plus, an up-to-date driver CPC and Digi card, with no more than three points on your license.

About the role?

• Monday to Friday, 11:00 to 19:30
• Weekend holiday/absence cover will be required
• Temo-to-perm opportunity
• £30,000 per annum

What will you be doing?

Working as a Warehouse Dispatch Coordinator you will be working within the warehouse to ensure load and delivery note accuracy. Plus, the following:

• Possibly an element of warehouse order picking/loading
• Driver briefing and de-briefing
• HGV service management (ensuring all HGVs are taken and collected from service on-time)
• General office duties involving Microsoft Office and Tachomaster (training can be provided)
• HGV Driving will be required to cover absences
