Warehouse Dispatch Operative

We're seeking a motivated individual to become a Warehouse Dispatch Operative, with our food production and manufacturing client in Broxburn.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

Pay rate: £12.21 per hour - paid weekly

Working as a Warehouse Dispatch Operative, your duties will include, but not limited to:

• To store products, select and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring these are to specification
• Use a handheld scan device to scan products in to/out of the computerised system of business
• Safely and efficiently operate machinery (may include strapping machine, pallet wrapper)
• Extensive manual handling of product
• Secure orders for transport
• Participate in stock counts
• Ensure all relevant records and paperwork are maintained accurately

To be successful in this warehouse position you will have previous experience in a similar role, ideally in a food production/manufacturing environment. Combined with:

• Experience using dispatch paperwork
• Ability to work on your own and work well with others
• Thorough attention to detail
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Good time management skills
• The ability to remain calm under pressure
