Job DescriptionOur esteemed client, an E-Commerce leader, is seeking an exceptional Warehouse Operations Manager for a 6 Month FTC to join their team. This pivotal role demands a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in managing high-volume warehouse operations.Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring optimal productivity and efficiencyImplement and manage warehouse management systems (WMS) for accurate inventory controlDevelop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain high service standardsLead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of warehouse staff (circa. 200 Indirect Reports / 6 Direct Reports)Coordinate with cross-functional departments to streamline logistics and supply chain activitiesEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environmentDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and cost-efficiencyMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports for senior managementQualifications and Skills:Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably within a Retail / E-Commerce environment - EssentialProficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software - EssentialStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesKnowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards - EssentialWhat’s on Offer£45,000 - £50,000
