Monday – Friday, 9am – 6pm

A leading logistics company is seeking a Warehouse Operations Support Manager to provide comprehensive operational expertise across all business areas. This role will focus heavily on the design and implementation of e-commerce systems, solutions, and procedures, supporting and managing operations through Go Live and Stabilisation phases. Additionally, the role requires managing general operations as needed, aiming to elevate all operations to best-in-class performance.

The Candidate;


  • A strong logistics background within E-Commerce operations is highly desirable
  • Proven extensive operational experience with a clear focus on improvement.
  • Previous experience in the logistics/warehousing sector, preferably within e-commerce and FMCG.
  • Experience managing or supervising a team in a warehouse or production environment.
  • Progressive experience in supply chain management, including responsibilities for production, health, safety & environmental, quality, and distribution.
  • Experience working in environments utilizing Continuous Process Improvement (CPI), Six Sigma, and LEAN management techniques.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with a good customer focus and excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to partner, form, and lead teams with cross-functional groups, ensuring common objectives, goals, and milestones are met.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate to a diverse audience at multiple levels using various formats, including presentations, emails, and leading meetings.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of warehouse/e-commerce operations, process mapping, control plans, LEAN Six Sigma, Agile methodology, and WMS systems.
  • Understanding of BRC standards.

Duties and Responsibilities;


  • Provide leadership to supported teams, ensuring clear direction and standards are communicated and achieved.
  • Support the development of e-commerce solutions, systems, and operations to facilitate the company's transition into Omni Channel Logistics.
  • Drive change throughout the business to improve all operational areas with the support of the Special Project Manager.
  • Develop project documentation, test protocols, training material, and operational tools to ensure the successful delivery of all projects and change initiatives.
  • Drive the use of Six Sigma and LEAN methodologies across the business, applying knowledge of process tools such as Process Mapping, Risk Management, Gate Reviews, and Control Plans.
  • Manage Continuous Improvement (CI) and change programs, delivering sustainable improvements to cost, service, and quality.
  • Identify and implement mutually beneficial improvement initiatives in collaboration with internal and external customers.
  • Design and implement key performance indicators to identify shift/line performance and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Promote a culture of total quality.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations within the operation.
  • Uphold warehouse and site rules.
