We are actively looking to engage warehousing and distribution professionals with a passion for warehousing operations for a new role as a Warehouse Operations Manager in Castle Donington, Leicestershire!�



Client Details



Our client is a market-leading 3PL logistics business with around 61 logistics sites�across the world (in Europe, USA and the Far-East). You will be joining a fast-paced environment in a brand new logistics hub around 350k sq.ft. of pallet and racking space with circa 250 colleagues across warehousing and transport



Job Description



As a Warehouse Operations Manager you will report into the Logistics General Manager on a daily basis and will be responsible for the following areas of responsibility within the Castle Donington, Leicestershire site.�




  • Managing around 250 colleagues across a 24/7 shift pattern of 3x shifts.

  • Responsible for a warehouse of over 350k sq.ft. with a vast E-Commerce operation and large throughput of goods.�

  • Responsible for the management of 3x Shift Managers, 1x Inventory Manager and a CI and Stock Control team.�

  • Full budgetary P&L responsibility, alongside achieving target KPI's and ensuring on-time, in-full delivery.�

  • Motoring productivity and cost targets alongside customer service excellence.�

  • Review processes to identify improvements and lead change initiatives.�

  • Lead talent reviews and management for succession planning.�



The Ideal Candidate



The successful candidate will have an expansive background in warehousing operations and will have the following skills & experience:




  • 5+ years' experience managing warehousing operations

  • Experience managing in excess of 150+ colleagues

  • Desirable - SAP and/or Manhattan WMS experience

  • Ideally NEBOSH / IOSH qualified

  • Commutable to Castle Donington, Leicestershire on a daily basis.
