Warehouse operative/7.5 tonne driver

Apex Resources are currently recruiting for a reliable and skilled Warehouse Operative/7.5 Tonne Driver for their manufacturing client in Livingston

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all relevant regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of materials handling and warehouse operations, as well as the ability to perform heavy lifting and operate various equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 7.5 tonne lorry for the delivery and collection of goods.


• Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.

  Maintain accurate stock records

  Perform picking and packing duties to prepare goods for dispatch.

  
  


• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.


• Adhere to all health and safety regulations while on the road and in the warehouse.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence with the appropriate category for 7.5 tonne vehicles.


• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in stock management.


• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks as required.


• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.


• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.

The hours of work are�Monday-Thursday�7:45am-4:30pm, Friday�7:45am-1:45pm paid weekly between �14-�14.50 per hour

This is a temp to perm position after 10 weeks for the right candidate
