Warehouse Operative with Forklift and Driving Licence

Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire
Salary: £26,000 - £28,500
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:15 (including a 45-minute break)

Are you an experienced warehouse operative with a forklift licence and a driving licence? We are looking for a reliable and proactive individual to join our team in Banbury, Oxfordshire!

Key Responsibilities:
As a Warehouse Operative, you will enjoy a varied role, with regular rotation of duties across goods-in, picking/despatch, and fulfilling site requests.

Goods-In Duties:


  1. Receive and inspect incoming goods for quality and quantity.
  2. Safely store goods in appropriate locations and optimise storage space.
  3. Mark electronic parts and remove supplier labels on external parts.
  4. Perform rolling inventory checks and communicate discrepancies to administrators.
  5. Inspect returned tools, warranty parts, and site boxes for defects and rectifications.

Picking and Despatch Duties:


  1. Pick and pack customer orders securely and accurately.
  2. Undertake light assembly of system components as required.
  3. Prepare parcels for shipment, including organising labels, documentation, and courier manifests.
  4. Communicate weights and dimensions of packages and advise on any shipment issues.

What We’re Looking For:


  • Valid forklift licence (Counterbalance or similar).
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Previous warehouse experience, ideally in goods-in and despatch.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Basic IT skills for data entry and courier systems.
