Menzies Distribution are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join us providing a first class service with out team in Norton (WR5 2PT). You’ll be working on behalf of Menzies Distribution Solutions Limited and its customers.

What You Really Want To Know:

• Location: Norton, Worcestershire
• Salary: £26,000 / £12.50 Per Hour 
• Shift Pattern rota: Monday to Friday. Week 1 - 06:00-14:30 Week 2 - 09:00-17:30  
• 40 Hour Week
• Holiday entitlement is 28 days Per Annum
• Parking onsite & both the Train Station & Bus Station are within a short walking distance from the site.
• This role requires BPSS & SC Security clearance.
• Monthly Pay

Please note.  This role requires you to be on-call out of hours on a rota, where you would be required to come and pick up a part and driver the van and deliver it out the customer secure sites nationally. Overtime pay and time off are given if a call out is required.

A day in the life as a Warehouse Operatove for Menzies Distribution might include any of the following:

• Picking and putting away pallets in the warehouse
• Secure picked product onto pallets for forward transportation.
• Correctly check documentation and delivery paperwork..
• Comply with safe working practices at all times.
• Undertake any other reasonable job instruction to support the supply of a quality service to the customer.
• General Housekeeping Duties.

What will make you a great fit for this role?

• Have FLT Counterbalanace asa minimum, ideally with Flexi, however you will trained and upskilled to use Flexi FLT
• Driving License - Van
• Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
• Be able to conduct yourself in a professional manner
• Develop a level of trust and support with all colleagues
• Experience operating within a warehouse environment
• DBS & SC Security Clearance -  This role does require security clearance
