Warehouse Operative Van Driver

Red Recruitment group urgently require an experienced warehouse van driver for a temporary to permanent position in Middleton, Manchester.

Your main position will be to work in the warehouse and also as a cover driver, out on the road delivering fragile automotive components. With warehouse duties as part of your daily routine. A varied role with both driving and warehouse work.

Manual handling is involved in both the warehouse and delivery duties.

The vehicle you will be driving is a long wheel based Mercedes Sprinter so candidates ideally would have good previous experience in driving this size of vehicle.

You will be required to be aged 25 as a minimum and hold ideally a full clean drivers licence for insurance purposes. 

Hours of work are 08:00 - 17:30 Monday to Friday

Plus every other Saturday 08:00 - 13:00

£11.44 per hour / £12.21 per hour from April 2025

Temporary to permanent position for immediate interview and start

£26'769 per year basic salary plus overtme paid at time and a quarter when permanent. Rising to £28'571.40 Basic from April 2025

Weekly paid for 2 week temp to perm

Monthly paid when employed permanent
