Warehouse Operative

Highbury are working with a Client who are expanding their warehouse team!

As a growing company, they're are on the lookout for enthusiastic individuals to join their fast-paced warehouse team. You’ll play a vital role in picking, packing, and dispatching orders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in various warehouse tasks, including receiving goods, picking, packing, operating MHE, and loading vehicles.
• Accurately receive, unload, and store incoming stock while efficiently picking and packing orders using our barcoding software and PDAs.
• Safely operate forklifts and other equipment to manage materials effectively.
• Maintain stock accuracy through regular stock takes and address any discrepancies.
• Replenish warehouse pick face items daily and prepare shipments with proper packaging and documentation.
• Keep the warehouse organised, safe, and clean.
• Support stock control and quality assurance efforts.
• Step in as a delivery driver when needed to ensure timely customer deliveries.

Skills & Experience:

• Strong work ethic and ability to collaborate with a team.
• Capability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Regularly lift objects weighing between 5-25kg; may occasionally lift more than 45kg.
• Possession of a valid UK Driving Licence.
• Good physical fitness to stay active throughout the day.
• Commitment to seeing tasks through to completion with a strong work ethic.

Monday - Friday. 42 - 47.5 hours a week.
