Warehouse Operative

Apply today to work as a Warehouse Operative for our client's main distribution center for supermarkets.
Staffline is recruiting for Warehouse Operatives in Sherburn in Elmet.
The rate of pay is:
- £11.72 to £15.33 first 12 weeks
(uplifts for weekend days and after 6pm)
- £12.39 to £16.63 after 12 weeks
(uplifts for weekend days and after 6pm)
Overtime is available at this site after 40 hours worked, and is paid time and a half.
Bank holidays are paid at double time.
This is a full-time role working fixed shifts. The hours of work are:
- 6am to 2pm
- 2pm to 10pm
Your Time at Work
As a Production Operative, your duties will include:
- Picking
- Dealing with goods in
- Driving MHE such as LLOPs
- Taking care to ensure products are stacked robustly
Our Perfect Worker
Our ideal Production Operative will hold the following:
- Strong accuracy
- Hard working mentality
- Willingness to work weekends
You must be capable of lifting stock that can be up to 20kg (most is far lighter). You must also be willing to work in cold temperatures (5 degrees in chill department).
Experience in similar role desirable, but not essential.
