Baltic Recruitment are currently recruiting for Permanent Warehouse Operator, for a client located in Washington. Reporting to the Customer Service Team, the successful candidate's role will be split between Warehousing and Customer Service.

Warehouse Operator Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Working to strict deadlines in a target driven environment.
  • Complete cycle checks on the stock in the warehouse to maintain the stock accuracy.
  • Use a Warehouse control system to support with investigations when discrepancies are highlighted.
  • Assist with stock taking / re-mapping / Run out counts and other accuracy related tasks as required.
  • Complete packaging checks.
  • Liaise with wider team to support with company count requests.
  • Location Quarantine Investigations
  • Support GK, 5S and other improvement activities.
  • During each shift, keep the work area clean and tidy.
  • Complete all necessary documentation in accordance with current requirements.
  • Using a Warehouse control system to support with investigations internally and externally.
  • Ensure the highest of Health and Safety standards are maintained.
  • Ensure that any defects and damages are reported.
  • Efficiently process customer requirements ensuring all quality expectations are maintained.
  • Achieving the targets and job standards set out by your management team.

Warehouse Operator Applicants:

  • Knowledge of working within a warehouse environment.
  • Experience of using Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
  • Have a positive, 'can-do' approach to work.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be confident to be able to deal with internal / external customers and liaise with different departments.
  • FLT License is desirable.
  • Experience using a Warehouse management system.
  • Customer Focused.
  • Hold English & Maths GCSE's at C grade or above.
  • Ability to manage own time effectively.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.

Hourly rate: �12.11. Working a 2-shift rotating pattern (days and backs) as well as overtime when required. Candidates must be willing to provide cover at the client's other site in Sunderland.

Working 39 hours per week, however, must be flexible to change between shift patterns and work overtime when required.
