Warehouse Operative

Right Now Group are currently recruiting for a number of Warehouse Operatives who are keen to become Cargo X-Ray Screeners for a large global freight forwarder based at Stansted Airport.
The job role will involve x-ray screening parcels ready for export. We can provide training, but we are ideally looking for a candidate with previous experience working within a warehouse environment or with a previous experience in x-ray screening in some sort of capacity i.e. passenger/ hold baggage/ cargo.
Candidates will require:

• Safety Boots / Steel Toe capped boots (You will need to provide these)
\n
• 5-year background check (we will complete this)
\n
• Valid DBS (issued within last 10 weeks) (we can complete this)
\n
• Cargo Operative Training - CO (we can complete this)
\n
• NXCT Screening Course and Training (we can complete this)
\n
• Must have strong written and verbal communication in English
\n

Please note - This is not an immediate start as we will have to complete your 5-year referencing.
The cost of your DBS and CO training will be deducted from your first two weeks' pay.

Monday 19:00-23:00

Tuesday 19:00-23:00

Wednesday 19:00-23:00

Thursday 19:00-23:00

Friday 19:15-23:15
You will receive:

Duties will include:

\n
• Working in a fast-paced Warehouse Environment
\n
• Loading and Unloading Parcels onto X-ray machine, Conveyor belts and vehicles
\n
• Using a hand-held scanner, Parcels will need to be scanned as they travel through the facility
\n
• Adhering to all Health and Safety instructions in the warehouse
\n
• X-Ray Screening Cargo, looking out for any explosive threats
\n
• Keeping up to date with screening training
\n

This position will involve repetitive manual lifting it is essential that you have a good level of fitness.
