Warehouse Operative

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to coordinate our daily warehouse and distribution operations. You will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient handling, distribution, and monitoring of materials in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Pay Rates:

• Night Shift (7 PM to 8 AM): �14.30 per hour
• Day Shift (8 AM to 7 PM): �11.65 per hour

Positions Available:

1. First Position:
   • Shift Timing: 6 AM to 10 AM (Monday to Friday)
   • Total Hours: 20 hours per week
   • Start: ASAP
2. Second Position:
   • Shift Timing: 3 PM to 8 PM (Monday to Friday)
   • Total Hours: 23.75 hours per week
   • Includes a 15-minute lunch break
   • Start: ASAP (December overtime available and potential for permanent position)

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake manual handling, distribution, and monitoring of materials in a bulk storage and warehouse setting.
• Assist with the unloading of vehicles and checking in of stock, ensuring accuracy.
• Sort and place materials or items onto racks and shelves efficiently.
• Pick specified items from storage for preparation for shipment.
• Pick and pack products, which includes unboxing, labeling, re-boxing, and stacking items on pallets.

Requirements:

• Previous practical experience as a Warehouse Operative in a logistics environment or similar role (desirable).
• Familiarity with manual handling procedures.
• Experience in preparing and distributing volume orders.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage your own workload effectively.
• Ability to work in a multi-dimensional warehouse environment, including ambient, chilled, and freezer areas on rotation.
• Immediate start dates are available.
