Warehouse Operative

Warehouse Operatives required - Basingstoke.

Forte Recruitment have several positions available for Warehouse Operatives within the Basingstoke area. Our client is a busy distribution environment.

You will be responsible for the movement and processing of produce at the company established rate to meet customer specification.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Producing products to meet customer and company specification.

Packing, weighing and labelling goods

To promote a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Maximizing utilisation of product through effective selection and efficient packing methods.

KEY SKILLS:

Good communication skills and understanding of the English language.

Diligent worker with good attention to detail.

Basic numeric skills.

Must be able to repeatedly lift approximately 22kg.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

Experience of packing and working in a warehouse environment preferred.

OTHER INFORMATION:

Work involves standing and walking for approximately 8 hours a day.

Employment will be conditional to the satisfactory completion of the Start of Employment Health Declaration & references.

HOURS OF WORK & RATE OF PAY:

Hourly Rate: �11.44 Per Hour

8am-5pm Weekday and evening shifts available.

Must be over 18.
