Warehouse Operative

Do you have minimum of 3 years of�Warehouse�MHE experience with valid licenses like: Reach truck, Counterbalance, PPT? Are you staying in around Milton Keynes?�
This role is ideal for someone who can�work across inbound, outbound, picking, putaway, and reworking damaged pallets, ensuring smooth�warehouse�operations while maintaining high safety and efficiency standards.

• Role:�Warehouse�Operator


• Location:�DS Smith Packaging, Anderson Gate,�Milton�Keynes�MK4 4AE


• Rate:��16ph, OT: x1.5 of basic salary


• Contract length:�3 months initial contract with high possibility of converting into a permanent position


• 
  

  Shift Patterns:�4 on 4 off - 6 am to 6 pm, Days only

  
  


• Interview:�In person interview followed by an assessment�

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Picking shipments using the internal�warehouse�system.


• Following FIFO principles to ensure accurate stock rotation.


• Ensuring all picked pallets are in safe and good condition before dispatch.


• Receiving goods, inspecting them for quality, and scanning them into the system.


• Putting away received goods into racking efficiently and accurately.


• Maintaining high performance levels in line with KPIs.


• Performing housekeeping duties as required to keep the workspace organized.


• Adhering to all health and safety standards and reporting any concerns.


• Collaborating with the team to maintain a productive work environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of�Warehouse�MHE experience with valid licenses.(Reach truck, Counterbalance, PPT)


• Strong knowledge of�warehouse�operations, FIFO stock rotation, and inventory management.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.


• Attention to detail and a commitment to upholding safety and operational standards.


• A team player with a proactive attitude and strong communication skills.
