Our Kirkcaldy based client are looking for 3 Warehouse Operatives to join their established team for a minimum of 6 months work.
Your key duties will include:
- Assembling, fitting and repair of undercarriage systems and general warehousing duties.
- Build Track Groups as per customer demand and specification. This is by means of hand tools and mechanical equipment. A level of labour is required due to manual handling of the lower-level parts.
- Shorten and lengthen chains as per customer demands and specifications, this is by means of mechanical equipment
- Wash and burn used track groups to allow track exchange. This is by use of driving a Loadall, burning torch and high pressure washing.
- Warehouse duties, including picking of lower-level parts, stocking of completed jobs and ensuring that workshop/warehouse is kept clean and safe.
To be suitable for this busy and challenging role you will ideally have the following skills and experience:
- Warehouse experience
- Workshop experience in oxyacetylene torch usage is preferred.
- Experience of pneumatic hand tools is preferred
- Must have a 'can do' attitude .
- High level of competency and organisational skills
- Counterbalance licence preferred .
- Loadall licence preferred .
- Abrasive wheels preferred .
- Welding and fabrication experience preferred .
- Qualified in 'First Aid' would be preferred but not essential.
This role will be Monday - Friday working (Apply online only)pm and the hourly rate will be �13.50 ph.
