Job Title: Warehouse Shift Manager (4 roles available)

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (Days / Nights - Fixed Shifts or Rotational)

Salary: �32,000 - �36,000 + Benefits.

Our client, a leading logistics company in Carlisle, is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Shift Manager to join their team on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a key role within a thriving organisation.

These roles would suit a developing Warehouse Supervisor or Warehouse Team Leader, looking to take their first step up to a Warehouse Shift Manager level.

There roles can work on a fixed days or nights shift pattern subject to the candidates identified.

About the Role:

As a Warehouse Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, leading a team of 6 direct reports, and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the warehouse. Your primary duties will include:

• Managing and supervising warehouse staff, ensuring optimal performance.


• Overseeing receiving, storing, picking, and shipping operations.


• Maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.


• Monitoring and improving warehouse processes and procedures.


• Providing training, coaching, and development for your team.


• Implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics management role.


• Strong leadership and team management skills.


• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.


• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.


• Knowledge of warehouse management systems and best practices.


• A commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety.


• Be commutable to Carlisle 4 days per working week.
