Warehouse Supervisor

Responsibilities:

� Oversee the overall operation of the warehouse, ensuring efficient storage and distribution of materials and equipment.

� Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and manage the procurement of materials to prevent shortages or excess.

� Coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery to construction site.

� Supervise warehouse staff, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure effective performance and adherence to safety protocols.

� Inspect incoming materials addressing any discrepancies or defects.

� Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, deliveries, and returns, and prepare regular reports for management.

� Organise warehouse layout to maximise space utilisation and improve workflow efficiency.

Qualifications:

� A relevant vocational qualification, such as an NVQ in Warehousing and Storage, may be beneficial.

� Significant experience in warehouse management or logistics, within the MEP construction industry.

� Prior supervisory or management experience is essential.

� CSCS site qualifications.

� Forklift Operator License (e.g., RTITB or ITSSAR) for operating warehouse equipment safely.
