Shift Pattern:Butterfly Shift - Week 1 (Sunday, Wednesday & Thursday) Week 2 (Monday, Tuesday, Friday & Saturday) 06:30 - 18:30 You will be responsible for: Motivating and leading a small team to deliver "Standards of Excellence" in all areas. Assisting the Shift Managers in ensuring the smooth running of daily operations, maximising resource efficiency at all times. Delegating and prioritising duties to ensure operational plans and service standards are met consistently. Ensuring compliance with Company policies, including Health & Safety, Food Safety, and operational procedures. Maintaining accurate records and paperwork, such as Tip/Load Sheets, Goods Receipts, Intend to Loads, and Temperature Controls. Adhering to guidelines on manual handling and the safe use of equipment, including conducting pre-operational checks and reporting any defects. Continuously improving the service provided to customers by proactively identifying areas for improvement. About you The ideal candidate will have proven experience in leading a team within a warehouse or similar environment, demonstrating the ability to lead from the front with a strong work ethic, commitment, and keen attention to detail. They will have a successful track record of achieving business goals through effective team leadership and individual accountability. The role requires familiarity with warehouse management systems and proficiency in IT. Excellent communication skills are essential, enabling the candidate to collaborate and work well within a team. This individual will thrive in a fast-paced, busy warehouse setting and will have a flexible approach to working hours to meet the operational demands of the business.
