Gi Group are proud to be working in partnership with LEVC, previously known as The London Taxi Company, in their global manufacture of purpose-built commercial electric vehicles. As a Warranty Parts Controller you will have the opportunity to work at their state-of-the-art facility in Coventry, utilising innovative technology and processes.

The Candidate

The company are looking to expand their workforce and take on a warranty parts controller to support their continued the growth. A positive and dynamic attitude is essential for this role, as well as being hard working and willing to go the extra mile.

You will be Responsible for managing the warranty returned parts from the dealers within UK and outside UK.

• Responsible for managing the dispatch and collection of parts relevant for supplier.
• Discuss with dealers regarding the parts availability and support movements of parts between suppliers and dealers and chase dealers if any delay. * Track, log and update the team Supplier recovery tracker with the parts information (arrival / dispatch/ collection dates).
• Responsible for scrapping the parts instantly when the claims are accepted / target date passed or as instructed. PQE / Warranty Manager SPQ & Warranty Lead Engineer Warranty Controller Document: ALL1-HR-TEM-(phone number removed)
• Responsible for raising the Invoice / customs documentation for the parcels outside UK.
• Collection of parts from the dealers in UK (Birmingham, Coventry, Nottingham etc) as necessary to save on courier charges.
• Work closely with the warranty controllers to understand the warranty parts needs to be called back from the dealers and ensuring these parts are called back within 60-day dealer retention policy.
• Responsible for visual inspection of parts and packaging arrived at Ryton site and capturing the relevant images and evidence in ppt.
• Report to the Warranty Lead Engineer about the status of warranty parts and its processed status (OK / damaged parts/packaging on arrival).
• Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested.
  

Previous experience within this role is essential along with the below :

• Computer and MS Office Literate particularly MS Excel and Outlook - mandatory.
• UK driving licence (clean preferred).
• Any other course / qualification in Engineering, Quality or Manufacturing (Desirable)
• Forklift experience (Desirable)
• Document: ALL1-HR-TEM-(phone number removed) SKILLS & PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS REQUIRED
• Experience within Quality or Warranty - ideally in OEM or 'Tier 1' or experience working with dealers, suppliers.
• Knowledge of courier services, part management between point A to B.
• Knowledge about vehicle, parts, and their functions.
• Experience in dealing Warranty Claims.
• Good Communicator with all levels within the company.

• Monday - Friday
• 8.30AM - 5PM Monday - Thursday 8.30 AM - 4PM Fridays
