Requirements for a Water Hygiene Engineer:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Water Hygiene Engineer or Water Treatment Engineer
  • Good knowledge of ACOP L8 compliance
  • Full UK driving license
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Positive work ethic

Tasks and Duties as a Water Hygiene Engineer:

  • Conducting site visits to ensure clients' systems comply with industry regulations
  • Collecting water samples
  • Monitoring temperatures
  • Servicing TMVs (Thermostatic Mixing Valves)
  • Closed system testing
  • Maintaining cooling towers
  • Remedial plumbing
  • Performing acid descaling on boilers, towers, and condensers
