About The Opportunity
The Water Hygiene Technical supervisor supports the Microbiology Business Manager and H&H Technical Manager with the Management and planning of all Water Hygiene Work scopes. Duties include management of client communication, quoting for services, receiving purchase orders, billing, and managing and scheduling team members for work scopes.
Key activities:
Work with the Technical Manager to ensure overall running and management of the H&H business
Oversee the Water Hygiene Technical Assistants to perform planning, and monthly look ahead, for vessel sampling, maintaining appropriate sampling frequencies and resamples where required. Communication with vessel and vessel management teams to achieve sampling when vessels are in port
Oversee daily response to client requests that may require short notice site visits and monitor for clashes on the planner, where needed resolve planning conflicts with support from the H&H Team
Manage annual planning and administration for offshore visits by Water Hygiene Assessors delivering work scopes at client sites
Preparation of timely and accurate sales quotes, ensuring procedures are applied for pricing, terms and conditions are followed the correct authorization limits used
Check POs received and accept the correct authorization limits, manage the creation of appropriate job packs, and register work in planners/company databases. Review and approve invoices and breakdowns where needed.
Manage client enquiries and client set-up on various systems as required
Sample Co-ordination with other laboratories; booking-in, logistical planning, tracking sample status, chase-up where required for data tracking purposes
Operate the Legionella Management Tool (LMT) Database set up new sites/users/management tasks and schedules. Support the Water Hygiene Technician to deliver Trend Reports and support client requests. Communicate IT downtime and change requests to allow smooth running of LabAutomation & LMT.
Deliver in an encouraging and enthusiastic manner Legionella Training Courses to classroom candidates
Assist in managing report templates/training content updates and formatting purposes, always following the company design format
Support in internal and external audits and corrective actions where identified
