Role: Water Project Manager
Salary/Rate: £ market rates (inside IR35)
Location: Hybrid - 2-3 days p/w + site travel
Contract Duration: 6-12 months

A qualified Water Project Manager is required by a consultancy working with some of the biggest government, infrastructure, defence, and security projects in the UK.

This Water Project Manager role is hybrid based between working up to 3 days per week in a local office (multiple available throughout the UK) and the remainder of the week working remotely or travelling to UK sites as required. Site travel will be expensed.

The Water Project Manager role will be a 6-12-month contract, paying market rates inside IR35.

This role is inside IR35 - Due to the service of the role, it will now be based on an Umbrella solution.

Role Profile/Responsibilities:

• A degree and/or membership in a professional institution (such as MAPM, CMI, etc.).
• Practical project management experience in water/wastewater infrastructure or non-infrastructure projects.
• Experience in managing design delivery projects, including multidisciplinary and Design and Build projects.
• Proficiency with Scope Definition papers, Project Execution Plans, Risk Registers, Change Control Logs, and Client and Stakeholder Management plans.
• Experience in Design and Build projects and bid delivery within the water and/or wastewater engineering sector. International experience is advantageous but not required.
• Manage the lifecycle of UK and international projects, from feasibility studies and front-end design to detailed design and construction support.
• Collaborate with the project technical team to ensure successful project delivery, meeting targets for schedule, budget, and quality.
• Develop project briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
• Work closely with teams both in the UK and internationally to create integrated design solutions.
• Maintain adherence to quality assurance standards in all design work.
• Prepare and submit all necessary project reports and plans, both internally and externally, as required.
