About the role
We have a great opportunity to work with the Water Supply team at Northumbrian Water as a Water Supply Production Operator to ensure they deliver great high-quality drinking water for our customers.
The roles will require you to predominately be working alone at some our sites, which can often be in remote or in the middle of no locations, where you will monitoring water quality at multiple stages of the treatment process to maintain compliance.
They're looking for you to be working with chemicals in the role to make sure you are disinfecting the water effectively to make sure it leaves the site at the right quality.
You'll be outside a lot of the time wearing Personal Protective Equipment working your way
around the site and will be responsible for the process unit cleaning, along with emptying
and jetting process unit tanks to remove waste material, so it can get messy at times too.

About you
We're looking for you to have proven experience working with technology and equipment to
deliver a quality product or process.
You'll have experience of using various equipment and processes to ensure you follow
procedures and have health and safety at the forefront of everything you do. You'll have
experience of using instrumentation to validate and calibrate a process to be successful in
your role.
