Water Treatment Engineer

Water Treatment Engineer - FM Service Provider - Commercial Building – Waterloo, London  – £25 per hour - starting 24th March

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Service provider situated in Waterloo. CBW are currently recruiting for a Water Treatment Engineer to be based in a commercial building in Waterloo, London. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in water treatment ideally with some plumbing experience.
Working hours

• Monday - Friday

• Start date 24th March

• 40 hours per week 
\n
• £25 per hour 
\n
• Weekly payment 
\n

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Daily, weekly and monthly analytical testing of cooling towers and closed systems.
\n
• Log Book Ownership
\n
• Chilled Water systems
\n
• Cooling tower maintenance
\n
• Closed system experience
\n
• Water flushing
\n
• Disinfecting mains water pipes and hot & cold water systems when the need arises
\n
• Working with chemicals such as chemical dosing
\n
• Surveys on hot and cold water systems
\n
• Basic Plumbing
\n
• Repairing pipework and leaks
\n
• Small plumbing jobs such as dead leg removal
\n
• Carry out general building maintenance
\n
• Knowledge of the following; Calorifiers, Cooling Towers - Disinfection, Circulation pumps, Temp tests, Tank Cleans, Chlorination, Water softeners, Cold water storage tanks, Dip Slides
\n

Requirements

\n
• City and Guilds in Plumbing
\n
• City and Guilds in Water Treatment
\n
• City and Guilds Legionella control within hot and cold water systems
\n
• Experience working with cooling towers
\n
• Demonstrate previous experience in water system remediation/maintenance works
\n
• Demonstrate working knowledge of the respective legislation and guidance material
\n
• Fully trained and knowledge
\n
