Are you passionate about clean code and long for the opportunity to overhaul outdated landing pages?We're recruiting for a powerhouse of a business, operating with a number of highly successful brands in its portfolio, in the B2B space, based near Bishops Stortford.The role is hybrid, 3 days in the office, 2 from home... so being a commutable distance from the office is absolutely essential. It's a close knit and sociable team, and they enjoy each others company, if you want to sit at home not talking to anyone, nah... nada, not the one for you! You'll be working within a very well equipped, and agile marketing function.... and you'll be the champion of all things 'web' for the group of brands. The role will give you the ultimate freedom, and you won't have someone above you to stay 'this can't be done'.... it genuinely does constitute an opportunity for someone to take a relative 'blank slate' and own the overall process of migration from 3rd party agency owned web ops, to a fully fledged inhouse compliment, with the plan to hire a more junior developer to support you in the next few months. QualificationsAt least 3 years'+ of experience in another web dev role, using HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptProficiency in at least one server-side technology package (Java, PHP, NodeJS, Python, Ruby) if possibleAbility to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work, and work with a wider team to ensure everything 'web based' is both functional and the ultimate UI/UX experience. Experience of handling development for multiple websites would be very handy, as would any agency experience or client facing freelance experience. Though, please note - this is a full time, permanent role, with no ability to be worked on a freelance basis.This marketing function is going through lots of very positive change, and huge growth, and this role will constitute one of few entering into this very exciting phase for both the employees and the company in general.
