Welder Fabricator/CNC Machinist

Thrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our client in the Calne area who are actively looking to recruit a Welder Fabricator/CNC Machinist to join the team on a permanent basis.

What you will be doing:

• MIG and TIG welding, ensuring that products are accurately manufactured in an effective and timely manner
• Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to manufacture parts accurately to tight tolerances
• Programme, set and operate CNC as well as Manual Lathes and Mills
• Operating a range of other machinery and hand tools

What you will need to succeed:

• Previous MIG / TIG welding experience essential as is programming, setting and operating CNC and manual lathes and mills
• Ability to use electrical and manual tools and folding equipment
• Experience in interpreting technical documents and drawings
• Well-organised approach and eye for detail
• Able to work under pressure and to deadlines with excellent communication skills
• NVQ Level 3 or time served
