Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Welder Fabricator to work with one of their well-established and very successful clients based in Sandy
LD fabricator welders lay out and fabricate primarily stainless steel metal assemblies and weldments, ranging from small components to large complex parts
The company are a well-established Engineering firm who are a leader in the Food Conveying systems industry making full food cycle machinery and the steelwork it sits upon.
Principle Responsibilities for the Welder:-
· Reading engineering drawings
· Reading, understanding, and implementing Risk Assessments and Method Statements
· Checking dimensions and thicknesses
· Tig or MIG Welding Stainless Steel and Mild Steel between 2mm to 20mminto a wide range of structures, producing strong, clean welds suitable for machinery to be used in the food industry
· Reworking and/or repairing welded parts and products according to engineering specification changes
· Operating tools and machinery and welding equipment
· Cutting and grinding metal
· Cleaning tools, equipment and work areas
Person specification:-
· Fabricator welder apprenticeship or equivalent
· Experience of TIG or MIG Welding
· Experience of use of lifting equipment
· Manual handling training
· Able to read engineering drawings
· Proactive approach to safety
· Use of hand tools
This is a full time permanent Welder fabricator position, Monday to Friday, 8am till 4:30pm with early finishes on Friday also offering overtime, starting hourly salary up to £18.50 DOE
