Welder Fabricator

BMR Solutions are currently recruiting Welders to work for our client who are an engineering company near Bristol.

Welder - contract

�26.50 p/h dependent on experience

Key Skills: Welder / Flux Core / Fitter / Heavy Industry / Marine / Assembly

Responsibilities:

• Welding


• Assemble parts to the required specification


• Fabrication of heavy structures


• Refit / repair


• Marine modifications


• Pipe fitting


• Working to engineering drawings


• Installation of component parts


• Mechanical Build and fitting


• Working in a team to meet build targets

Knowledge and Skills:

• Welding


• Flux core


• FCAW


• ARC welding


• Steel welding


• Stick welding


• Mechanical engineering skills (e.g. apprenticeship, qualification or relevant experience)


• Able to read engineering drawings and understand Bill of Materials


• Ability to understand mechanical design assembly


• Previous mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment


• Experience of assembling fabricated parts to engineering drawings


• Good dexterity with the ability to handle a variety of parts including sheet metal, machined and electrical components


• Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

Job Types: Contract

Pay: �26.50 p/h dependent on experience
