Welder

A great opportunity has arisen within a successful engineering company for an experienced permanent Welder, working Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week.

You will be responsible for the fabrication and welding of various air filtration units, coverings and ventilated ceilings using Zintec, stainless-steel and aluminium parts using TIG welding processes.

Your main duties will include:

• Setting up welding machines based on the specific project
• Following/reading drawings to correctly weld components
• Supplying quality finished works to a high standard
• Working to specific time constraints
• Working collaboratively with other Factory employees
• Following and adhering to health and safety standards
• Willingness to complete overtime on occasion

Experience/Qualifications

• Experience working with 1.2mm Stainless and Polishing
• Previous welding experience
• Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures
• Experience in using electrical or manual tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
• Knowledge of safety standards
