Our client, a leading provider in the marine manufacturing sector, is nearing completion on a project which now requires additional labour.
The contract will run for approx. 4 weeks
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing welding tasks using FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) techniques
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings specific to marine applications
- Ensuring all welds meet industry standards and project specifications
- Conducting inspections and tests to maintain high quality of work
- Collaborating with other team members to complete projects on schedule
- Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order
- Adhering to all safety protocols and marine regulations
Job Requirements:
- Experience in welding, specifically using FCAW techniques
- Strong understanding of marine welding standards and safety practices
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality welds
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- Relevant certification in welding or equivalent qualification
