GSL Education is currently seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Well-Being Lead in a local school in Bournemouth. This is ideally for a November start, but there is scope to delay until January 2025.
The school offers a non-teaching opportunity to make a significant impact on the development of young people with special educational needs. This role involves collaborating with the SENCO to ensure pupils receive inclusive support aligned with their Education and Health Care Plans. The successful candidate will guide and support class teams and engage with students and families with a solution-focused and adaptable approach.
The school is renowned for its outstanding environment catering to children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs, fostering a community-oriented atmosphere dedicated to achieving excellence. The Well-Being Lead will coordinate the development and implementation of SEN policies to enhance pupil achievement and provide sustainable support strategies.
