Wills and Probate Solicitor | Bletchley, Milton Keynes | Full-time – 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday with 1 hour lunch from 1pm – 2 pm | Hybrid working will be considered |£50,000 - £55,000 per annum
Our client is a reputable two-partner law firm based in Milton Keynes, specialising in a diverse range of residential and commercial property work, alongside private client services.
They are seeking an experienced Solicitor or FCILEX with around 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join their team and provide wills and probate services.
Are you the right person for the job?
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Adaptability is essential, as the team operates on a cloud-based file management system, and a willingness to embrace and navigate computerised systems is crucial
Must be able to work without supervision
The ideal candidate will manage the Wills and Probate department, with some administrative support
The ideal candidate will have autonomy to make the role theirs, with regular meetings with management and support to grow and develop as required
What will your role look like?
You will be responsible for:
Drafting wills
Handling both taxable and non-taxable estates
Applying for Grants of Probate
Administering estates
Drafting and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney
