Our client is a well-established regional contractor with a significant portfolio of projects in the area. Specializing in quality design and build, new construction, and refurbishment work, they deliver projects across education, commercial, healthcare, leisure, industrial, and mixed-use developments. THE OPPORTUNITY

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Working Foreman to oversee and contribute to various commercial contracts and projects across the M4 and M5 Corridor.



This role is ideal for a professional with hands-on experience in building maintenance and general construction, coupled with the ability to supervise and guide teams to deliver projects to a high standard.



As a Working Foreman, you will:




  • Lead and coordinate on-site teams to ensure projects run smoothly and efficiently.

  • Maintain a hands-on approach to complete key aspects of building works.

  • Act as the primary point of contact between site teams, contractors, and the client.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.



KEY REQUIREMENTS


  • Proven leadership experience in a supervisory or foreman role.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to implement effective solutions.

  • Strong knowledge of construction and maintenance practices.

  • Willing to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills.

  • Basic knowledge of additional trades is advantageous.

  • A positive attitude and proactive approach.

  • Full UK driving license.

  • NVQ/City & Guilds in a relevant trade (or equivalent).

  • Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on trade experience.

  • An Enhanced DBS check will be required.
