Works Manager

About the role

Our client is a large earth works contractor and we are looking for an experience Works Manger with a earth moving and muck shifting background.

What you'll be doing

As a Works Manager you will:

• Take overall responsibility for the successful completion of the construction programme, meeting or exceeding all contractual obligations


• Monitor delivery of the project, identifying risk and opportunities and working with key stakeholders to optimise project delivery


• Lead the delivery of construction works, ensuring compliance with all company processes and protocols�


• Manage and develop the supervisory and engineering team, and lead project steering groups/cross discipline action groups, as required

Who we're looking for

You will:

• Have a practical understanding of construction techniques and detailing


• Be experienced in the management of large earth woks operations.


• Be highly numerate, with strong commercial awareness and good technical knowledge


• Have strong leadership and management skills, with a collaborative leadership style


• Have a�CSCS Card, and must be SMSTS qualified

This a permanent position�50k to �60K Pickup or allowance,fuel card, bonus, lodge.
