Job Title: Workshop Assistant�

Hours & Salary:

• 45 hours per week (day shift).
  
• Full-time, permanent position.
  
• Salary: �14.00 per hour (depending on experience).
  
• Nursling SO16
  

Main Responsibilities:

• Assist the workshop team with container repairs, preparation, and conversions.
  
• Convert containers into various end uses, such as site offices, welfare units, accommodation, workshops, and more.
  
• Specific tasks include:
  • Lining and insulating container offices
    
  • Installing vinyl flooring
    
  • Timber frame construction
    
  • Basic carpentry (kitchen installation)
    
  • General fitting of construction components
    
  • Forklift operation (preferable but not essential)
    
  • Manual labour assistance
    
  • Final cleaning of units before delivery.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Background in construction, engineering, or manufacturing is preferred but not essential.
  
• Good problem solving skills and ability to work under general supervision.
  
• Dynamic, energetic, and highly organized and adapt to different tasks.
