Job Role: Workshop Controller 
Location: Cirencester, Gloucestershire
Salary: £28,000-£32,000 per annum
Hours: Monday-Friday 08.00-17:00 + Overtime @ 1.5x
Job Type: Full time, Permanent


The client:
Interaction Technical have partnered with a growing, world leading manufacturer of Agricultural Engineering Equipment based in the Gloucestershire area to support the growth of their team. Due to the growth of the business, our client is now looking to add a workshop controller to their team based at their Cirencester site. The package:


  • 32 days holiday including bank holidays – increasing with service
  • All overtime after 37.5 hours paid at 1.5X midweek, x2 on Sundays and Bank Holidays (£21.50-£24.50 per hour)
  • Plenty of overtime available per week (average availability is 15-20 hours) Min (5 hours): Additional £5,590pa / Average (15 hours) : Additional £16,770pa
  • Holiday overtime pay – paid in May (£1,500 paid last year)
  • Ongoing commitment to training and progression
  • Pension scheme – 3% employee minimum, 8% employer

The Duties:


  • Liaise with engineering team to coordinate and allocate work for the service department.
  • Oversee daily operations of the workshop, ensuring that all work is completed as effectively and efficiently as possible by the service team.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure that they receive efficient service and that all their needs are met to a satisfactory level.
  • Keep accurate records and documentation of all services completed.
  • Ensure that the workshop is running smoothly on a day-to-day basis, dealing with any potential problems that may arise efficiently.

The Requirements:


  • Previous experience working as a workshop controller (essential) – preferably within the agricultural industry (advantageous)
  • Previous experience in an office/workshop-based environment (essential)
  • Proven customer service experience with client liaison experience (essential)
  • Experience within the agricultural industry (advantageous)
  • Full UK Drivers License
