Workshop Engineer
required. My client is well established in the supply, maintenance and installation of diesel powered machinery. Due to a desire to expand, they are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their workshop team. The successful candidate will have experience servicing small or large diesel engines. You must also be happy to commute to Bishop's Waltham and have a Driving Licence.
Workshop Engineer Position Overview
Fault finding, diagnosis and repair on small and large diesel powered machines
Preparing machinery for delivery to customer sites
Work with the Workshop Supervisor for daily schedule
Carrying out testing and inspection of machinery and associated control panels
Representing the company in a professional manner
Keeping workshop and yard tidy and organised
Receiving product training
Training colleagues when required
Workshop Engineer Position Requirements
Previous experience repairing diesel engines is essential. This can come from any industry, including car mechanics, marine or plant equipment etc.
Any mechanical or electrical qualifications are desirable
Full Driving licence
Based within a commutable distance of Bishop's Waltham
Workshop Engineer Position Remuneration
Salary £32,000 - £35,000 DOE
Overtime available
25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays

Hours Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:00
