Dawsongroup emc is a part of the Dawsongroup, is the UKs leading supplier of self-drive Municipal, industrial and specialist vehicles for contract hire. This exciting opportunity will focus on the servicing, maintenance and repairing of a full range of specialist municipal vehicles including Gully Tankers, Refuse Vehicles Tippers/Tipper grabs and Road sweepers.
As the Workshop Engineer you will be responsible for:
Fault diagnosis, repair and routine maintenance of sweepers and other company equipment
Examining sweepers and other company equipment
Carrying out vehicle inspections and MOT checks, delivering vehicles to MOT test stations
Assisting the rental operations department, ensuring weekly stock checks of all hire fleet assets not on rent
The successful Workshop Engineer will hold:
HGV mechanical experience (ideally)
Experience dealing with hydraulic systems
Basic electrics knowledge
