First Achieve's Engineering Division have an excellent opportunity for a Workshop Mechanical Plant Fitter to join a nationally established company in the Central Belt region, for their Falkirk-Livingston premise.

What's on Offer:

\n- Straight to perm role
\n- Monday to Friday
\n- Mon to Thurs 8am to 5pm and Fri is 8am to 4:30pm
\n- Workshop based
\n
\n
This role will report directly to the Workshop Manager and you will be expected to work as part of a collaborative team of operatives in ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of a wide array of heavy plant and machinery.
\n
\n
Duties will involve the following:
\n
\n- Ensure machinery operates efficiently and adheres to all safety regulations.
\n- Take proactive steps to identify and resolve potential issues before they escalate.
\n- Provide outstanding customer service and technical support as required.
\n- Communicate technical issues and solutions clearly to both customers and team members.
\n- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of work completed and parts used.
\n- Contribute to a positive, productive work environment by collaborating with the team.
\n- Uphold the company's high-quality standards and recognize the importance of customer satisfaction.
\n- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems, delivering effective solutions promptly.
\n- Manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Essential skills, experience and knowledge:
\n
The successful candidate must have:
\n
\n- Relevant qualifications or certifications in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical engineering (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, HND, or equivalent)
\n- Previous experience working with heavy plant machinery is essential
\n- Full, clean driving license is preferred
\n
\n
\n- In-depth knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, and electrical systems related to heavy plant machinery.
\n- Demonstrated experience in the plant industry or a comparable field.
\n- Exceptional troubleshooting abilities and the capability to identify and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues.
\n- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical individuals.
\n- A customer-centric approach, committed to delivering top-tier service.
\n- Capable of working both independently and within a team, showing initiative and problem-solving expertise.
\n- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, maintaining attention to detail while upholding safety and quality standards.
