Workshop Manager

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Workshop Manager to join a well-established, highly successful (and growing!) steelwork fabrication business that specialise in the design, manufacture, and installation of a variety secondary and architectural steelwork projects.

You will have a minimum of 5 years experience in Workshop Management, within the steelwork industry.

Workshop Manager duties include:

• Ensure project deadlines are met by planning, coordinating and overseeing the workflow and production schedules


• Liaise with QC to make sure all products meet the company and customer specifications


• Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments in line with necessary health and safety regulations


• Continually assess and identify any areas of improvement and implement strategies


• Effective Team Leader

Workshop Manager Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years in a Workshop Management position is essential, ideally within the steelwork industry


• Excellent communication skills


• A strong ability to use Microsoft Office software


• IOSH Managing Safely certificate


• Proven experience of man-management, this role requires you to manage an established team


• Live within/commutable distance of the workshop
