Are you an experienced leader with a background in fabrication? We are seeking a proactive and driven Workshop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our client's busy fabrication workshop. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a skilled team and ensure the highest standards of production efficiency and quality.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy fabrication workshop, ensuring smooth workflow and production schedules.
- Lead and manage a team of 15-20 Fabricators, Welders, and Apprentices, providing guidance, support, and development.
- Liaise with subcontractors, various departments, and internal staff to coordinate projects and maintain clear communication.
- Report directly to the Operations Manager, providing regular updates on workshop performance, progress, and challenges.
Requirements:- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar managerial role, with a strong background in fabrication.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for tracking and reporting purposes.
- NVQ or equivalent qualification in a managerial discipline is required.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings is essential.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
What is on Offer...- Competitive salary of �40,000 - �50,000, dependent on experience.
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm.
