Responsibilities of the workshop plant engineer may include:

• As the workshop plant engineer, you will be carrying out preventive maintenance to the company's construction equipment, including dumpers, excavators and rollers around 35 tonnes.
• Quickly and effectively diagnose faults in equipment to ensure minimal downtime for your client.
• Representing the company in a professional and knowledge way.
• Follow Safety and housekeeping standards in your area of work both in our workshop and at customer sites.
• An extremely reactive position where you will support the business' needs in the day-to-day requirements of service and maintenance to their machinery.

Due to their ongoing success, they are seeking a workshop plant engineer to assist the team working on their range of in house plant equipment.

To be successful in this role, you will need previous experience with this equipment or in roles such as Engineer, Mechanic Technician, Plant Fitter, Service Technician, Service Fitter, Workshop Plant Engineer. The equipment varies from Excavators, Dump Trucks, Diggers and Dozers including manufacturers like Volvo, JCB and Kubota. You must hold a full UK driving license as during busy periods, you may be required to attend site breakdowns.
