A leading manufacturer of solutions for the electrical and renewable energy industries are seeking a dedicated and skilled Supervisor to join its Electrical Workshop. The team is made up of highly qualified professionals who work closely with clients to achieve long-term success.Role OverviewThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Electrical Workshop, overseeing project installations, and ensuring high standards of workmanship. This role requires effective communication between the workshop team and the engineering department, as well as the ability to lead and motivate the team to meet project deadlines.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as a communication link between the workshop team and the engineering department.Collaborate with various business departments and contribute to time planning for projects.Ensure projects are completed on schedule by keeping the workshop team aligned with program timelines.Promote and maintain good working practices in the workshop and on-site.Oversee the quality of workmanship and support the development of apprentices' skills.Manage daily duties within the workshop and Stores area.Assist in maintaining an organized and efficient workshop environment.Adhere to and enhance the workshop’s quality system processes.Oversee the installation of project equipment on-site and GRP substations within the workshop.Manage the installation of electrical containment.Interpret and follow technical drawings and electrical diagrams.Handle on-site customer interactions professionally.Lead daily team meetings and manage project allocation and progress.Qualifications & ExperienceRelevant electrical qualification (e.g., Level 3 qualification in a relevant field).BTec, City and Guilds, or recognized apprenticeship/training in electrical work.Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical schematics.Proficient in general IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).Strong verbal and written communication skills.Previous experience as a Team Leader, preferably within the electrical industry.SAP knowledge is desirable but not essential.Working HoursMonday to Thursday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pmFriday: 8:00 am - 1:00 pm (Early finish Friday!)BenefitsFree on-site parkingBonus scheme (up to 10% monthly bonus)Early finishes on Fridays24 days of holiday plus eight standard UK bank holidaysJob Type: PermanentPay: £35,893.00-£40,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:Bonus schemeBenefits:Company pensionFree parkingOn-site parkingSchedule:Monday to FridayWork Location: In person
