Yard Counterbalance Driver

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Yard Driver to join clients team based in Calverton, Nottingham. This role requires excellent communication skills and a Counterbalance FLT licence along with experience working within a yard.

Requirements:

• Always wear the correct PPE.


• Always maintain the yard in a clean and tidy condition.


• Load and unload lorries as required using equipment provided


• Complete all relevant paperwork concerning loads in/out ensuring photographs of the loads are taken and passed to the Commercial Assistant or Commercial Manager daily.


• Re-bag by products to reduce the number of smaller bags on site if asked to do so.


• Ensure any by product bags from the production area are stored in the correct place to await disposal or out loading.


• Load or assist in the loading of reject material onto walking floors for transport away from the site as an when required.


• Report any damage or defects as soon as possible to Yard Team Leader


• Reading and understanding all Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work appropriate to the task being undertaken.

Must Have:

• Previous experience as a Counterbalance FLT driver


• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members.


• Experience working in a yard environment is beneficial.


• An RTITB licence is required.

Shifts:

• Monday - Friday 05:45am - 3:45pm (Days)


• Monday - Friday 1:45pm - 11:45pm (Afters)

Pay:

• £12.50 Per Hour
