Yard Operative with FLT Counterbalance

We require an experienced Yard Operative with a valid Counterbalance FLT Licence for a client based in Middlewich, Cheshire.

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our clients team. As a Yard Worker, you will be responsible for various tasks related to shipping, receiving, and warehouse duties. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and the ability to operate equipment such as forklifts. If you have a strong work ethic and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment which is based outdoors then this may be the ideal role for you!

Responsibilities:- Load and unload materials from trucks or other vehicles

- Organize and maintain inventory in the yard

- Operate forklifts and other equipment to move materials within the yard

- Perform basic repairs on equipment as needed

- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including checking in shipments and preparing items for delivery

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred

- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labour

- Knowledge of warehouse management systems is a plus

- Forklift certification (Counterbalance)

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
