Yard Operative

We are currently on the hunt for a Yard Operative for our Automotive manufacturing Client.

You will be required to take receipt of the vehicle from production and then monitor the movement while under control of the commercial department.

Further responsibilities include ensuring the vehicle has been built to the correct specification and the relevant documentation, handbooks and tool kits etc are all in place.

Another crucial part of the role is loading and securing of vehicles that are shipped in 20ft X 40ft sea containers and enclosed transporters.

It is essential that the successfully candidate has Slinger/Banksman due to the nature of the role.
