Nexus Resource Solutions are working in partnership with a well-established engineering company who require Yard Operatives to work in their busy yard and workshops. This role would suit people who like to be kept busy and work hard. On offer is secure employment and the opportunity for further development.
Duties:
Unloading and Loading all Vehicles
Keeping all areas of the yard clean and tidy
Storing products
Bundling steel
Requirements:
Good communication skills
Attention to detail
Flexibility
Physically fit as manual lifting is involved and a lot of labour-intensive work
Punctual and reliable
Able to organise and prioritise workload
Working Outdoors
Counterbalance, Side loader or telescopic forklift license advantageous
Hours/Rates:
£12ph PAYE
39hr week
4 days per week
8am-5.30pm Mon-Thu
Plenty overtime at time and a half and double on Sundays
Pension
Holidays are paid out at x1.3 of your rate
